Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Optional

When you're short on time, need a nutritious snack or fuel pre/post workout, these super smoothies get the job done! Loaded with phytonutrients, protein & fiber... There's a super smoothie for every kind of taste bud. 

Pro-Tips

  • Smoothies can be topped off with your favorite chopped fruit, nuts, shredded coconut, or homemade granola for an added nutrient boost.

  • Choose a high quality whey protein powder or collagen powder without added sugars. 

  • If you're not keen on dairy, vegan protein powder is a good alternative.

Instructions

For all smoothies:
1. Use a powerful blender.
2. Put milk or liquid in first.
3. Add in order: protein powders, leafy greens, veggies, fruit, ice.
4. Start blender on low speed, and gradually work up to high speed for approximately 1 minute or
until smooth and well-blended.
5. Add more or less ice to desired consistency.

Recipes

California Dreamin’ Smoothie
1-2 cups unsweetened milk of choice
1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder or vanilla collagen powder
2 handfuls (about 2 cups) baby spinach or kale
One half ripe avocado
One half a banana
1 to 1 1⁄2 cups ice

 

Optional: 1 scoop Opti-Greens 50 or other super greens powder
Optional: fresh basil leaves, half a cucumber, or two stalks of celery (cut into smaller pieces)

Sven’s Favorite Smoothie
2 cups unsweetened milk of choice
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
A handful of fresh mint leaves or 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (or more, to taste)
2 handfuls (about 2-3 cups) baby spinach
One half ripe avocado
1 to 1 1⁄2 cups ice

 

Optional: 1 scoop Opti-Greens 50 or other super greens powder

Melon Mama Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened milk of choice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder or vanilla collagen powder
1 Tbsp flaxseed meal
2 cups spinach (or kale)
1⁄2 cup fresh mint
1 cup english cucumber
1 cup frozen or fresh cantaloupe / melon (mix varieties for fun!)
1 cup ice

Blueberry Baby Smoothie
2 cups unsweetened milk of choice
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or vanilla collagen powder
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 cup loosely packed baby spinach
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
Pinch of kosher salt
1 cup ice

“Flax” Your Banana Smoothie
3⁄4 cup unsweetened milk of choice
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder or vanilla collagen powder
1⁄4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp flaxseed
Pinch of cinnamon
1 banana
1 to 1 1⁄2 cups ice

Spicy Jungle Smoothie
3⁄4 cup unsweetened milk of choice
1⁄4 cup plain coconut milk yogurt
1 large handful baby spinach
1⁄2 cups frozen mango chunks
1⁄2 piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 to 1 1⁄2 cups ice

 

Optional: 1⁄4 jalapeño (seeded if you prefer less heat)

Decadent Mocha Latte Protein Smoothie
2⁄3 cup of cold brew coffee
1⁄3 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1 frozen banana
2 scoops cafe mocha protein powder or chocolate protein powder
1⁄2-1 cup of ice

 

Optional: Make it a decadent salted caramel latte protein shake instead

Strawberry Summer Garden Smoothie
1 cup of unsweetened milk of choice
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
or vanilla collagen powder
fresh basil leaves
1⁄2 cup of frozen strawberries
1⁄2 cup of fresh strawberries
1⁄2 an avocado
1⁄2-1 cup of ice
