Pomegranate Rosemary Mocktail

I love to party with a mocktail. This is one of my holiday favorites!

So often it's the ritual of having a beverage that we seek, rather than actual alcohol. Next time you want a drink, give your liver some relief and try a mocktail instead!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh cranberries⁣ (frozen is ok)

  • 1 orange, chopped⁣

  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped⁣

  • 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice

  • Club soda, ginger ale or ginger kombucha (I like Better Booch because it has less added sugar than most store-bought brands.)

Instructions

  1. Chop oranges into small slices. You may want to chop the rosemary into smaller sprigs as well.

  2. Place cranberries into silicone ice cube tray, along with chopped oranges and rosemary.

  3. Fill each cavity of the ice cube tray to the top with pomegranate juice, then freeze overnight.

  4. Place 3-4 cubes into a glass with club soda, ginger ale or ginger kombucha

  5. Store leftover cubes in the freezer for up to three months. Enjoy! xo

Bonus Recipe: Frozen Immunity Cubes

The silicon ice cube trays used above are great for making flavorful, healthy shots and drinks at any time. Try this Frozen Immunity Cube recipe to spice up your beverages and boost your immune defenses on-demand.

  • 1 orange, chopped⁣

  • 1 lemon, chopped⁣

  • 2 carrots, chopped⁣

  • 2 inches fresh ginger (skin on is fine!)⁣

  • 1/4 cup mānuka honey

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric ⁣

  • 1 tsp ground black pepper ⁣

  • 3 cups coconut water (or filtered water)⁣

Wash produce thoroughly. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender until smooth. Strain then transfer to a silicone ice cube tray. Freeze overnight. When ready to use, defrost 3-4 cubes and drink as a shot, OR add 4-5 cubes to a blender along with water and drink as a juice. Enjoy! xo
